Shattering surprise

On Wednesday the 15th July 2009, imagine my surprise as I got into my car after a long day at work, start the car, put the gear into reverse and saw this ....

At first i thought the glass was frosted but knew it couldn't be as it wasn't that cold that evening.

Then upon closer inspection I noticed the shattering experience, the back windscreen just shattered.

Got it fixed on friday and now its as good as new ..... actually the car looks abit odd at the moment because the windscreen looks so good and new.

And her below together with my beautiful model is the end result .... the cost to replace that windscreen is almost the same as the car 8p
