This was a dancing weekend for us. First, we had our dance examinations on Saturday. We did Silver medals for Latin (Rhumba, Samba, Paso Doble and Jive) and Bronze cross medals for Ballroom (Waltz, Fox Trot and Quick Step). It went okay.. As usual, we were nervous and forgot some steps so we improvised a little bit.. Hehe.. The results should be ready by next week...
Today (Sunday), we went for a dance competition - July Dance Pageant. We competed in 4 categories - Silver Latin, Bronze cross Ballroom, Teams event and Open medallist category - Jive. We got 1st place for Silver Latin and 2nd place for the other 3 categories. Not too bad we would say. (Although some people told us that we should have got the 1st place for our Open medallist category - Jive. ahem ahem....) We didnt take a lot of pictures today.. So here there are..
We will competing in our first Dancesport competition next month! That would be a lot harder than the pageant competitions that we have been joining.. Wish us luck!!
